Throughout his notes, Miller predicted the oncoming traffic of traders and immigrants (and artists!) to the West. Horseshoe Creek would soon see his prediction become a reality when, several decades after Miller’s 1837 expedition, Horseshoe Creek Station became an important trading post for several major western stage lines.
